Our own Wake Forest neighbor Chris Stock is the Republican nominee for North Carolina State Senate District 18, which covers Granville County and part of Wake — including Wake Forest, Rolesville, and communities many of us drive through every day.

Chris is a Wake Forest attorney and small-business owner. He is the son of a small-business owner and a substitute teacher. He went to Wake County public schools, became the first in his family to finish college, earned his degree at N.C. State, and worked his way through Campbell Law while serving on staff in the General Assembly. He learned the building the honest way: walking bills, listening to constituents, and helping write budgets. Neighbors still see him at chamber meetings, at youth sports, and with the Knights of Columbus.

What we like about Chris is simple. He is local. He is decent. He treats public service as work, not a performance. He talks about the cost of a house, the pay of a teacher, the future of a family farm, and the safety of a neighborhood. That is the kind of man we want representing District 18 in Raleigh.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Early voting runs October 15 through October 31. Please vote. Complete your ballot. Vote every race on it — federal, state, and local. A close district is won by neighbors who remember to show up.
