Highlights & Gratitude: Our February 11 Pre-Primary GOP Get-Together at Norse Brewing Company

What an inspiring and unifying evening we shared on Wednesday, February 11, at Norse Brewing Company in Wake Forest for our Raleigh GOP Northeast Region, Pre-Primary Get-Together! Neighbors gathered to connect, enjoy appetizers and fellowship, and hear from dedicated Republican candidates stepping up to serve at every level of government. The energy was electric as we built momentum leading up to the March 3 primary. This reminded us of the reason we come together: to encourage informed voting for leaders of genuine character, integrity, and reverence for God.

A heartfelt thank you to each candidate who joined us:

* Judge Rashad Hauter, running for re-election to North Carolina District Court District 10A Seat 1—your commitment to fair justice and public safety right here in Wake County shines through.

* Mike Schietzelt, representing and fighting for North Carolina House District 35—thank you for your bold advocacy as a Marine veteran, attorney, and voice for northern Wake County families.

* Chris Stock, candidate for North Carolina State Senate District 18—your pragmatic, principled approach to education, economy, and local leadership inspired us all.

* Michael Whatley, our Trump-endorsed candidate for U.S. Senate—on very short notice, you made a special appearance to share some powerful words and connect with our group. Your America First message and strong endorsement from President Trump fired everyone up and added tremendous value to the night. Thank you for making time despite the last-minute schedule!

Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen situation, Cheryl Caulfield (candidate for North Carolina State Senate District 18) was unable to attend. She prioritizes school safety by strengthening support for school resource officers and addressing bullying and violence—we wish her the very best in her campaign and pray for God’s speed and guidance as she continues forward; the Lord has a plan.

A special thank you to my wife, Tammie Terrano, who is my inspiration in all I do. She came along and, together with Debbie Roesel—my soon-to-be vice chair—they were the backbone of the event running smoothly. Thank you, Debbie Roesel!!

Special appreciation also goes to MC/Moderator Tom Achterberg and every attendee who showed up to unite our hearts, share conversations, and strengthen our conservative neighborhood.

These events are about more than politics—they’re about building real connections and encouraging one another to vote wisely for God-fearing, America First leaders.

Check out the photos below capturing the smiles, handshakes, and fellowship!
