Today Is The Last Day To Request A Mail Ballot

Neighbors, if you want to vote by mail this year, today is the day to ask for your ballot.

Your absentee ballot request must reach the Wake County Board of Elections by 5 PM today, Tuesday, October 20.

The easiest way is the NC Absentee Ballot Portal: https://votebymail.ncsbe.gov

You'll need your date of birth and either your NC driver license number or the last four digits of your Social Security number.

Missed the deadline? You can still vote early in person at any Wake County early voting site through Saturday, October 31. Early voting ends at 3 PM that last day.

Already have your mail ballot? Two witnesses or a notary must sign the envelope, and include a copy of your photo ID. Your county board must receive it by 7:30 PM on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3. You can also drop it off at any Wake County early voting site.

Every vote counts. Vote early, and bring a neighbor.
