The Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Wake Forest are hosting a free Candidate Forum on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
Where: Wake Forest Renaissance Centre, 405 S. Brooks St., Wake Forest, NC 27587
When: Doors open 5:30 PM. Program starts 5:45 PM. Meet-and-greet with candidates at 8:00 PM.
Free and open to the public.
On the stage that night: races that touch northern Wake every day — Wake County schools, District Court, N.C. House District 35, N.C. House District 66, and N.C. Senate District 18.
That includes our neighbors Mike Schietzelt (N.C. House 35) and Chris Stock (N.C. Senate 18). Come hear them. Bring a friend. Ask a question. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
