Today Is The Last Day To Register To Vote

1 min read

Today, Friday, October 9, at 5 p.m. is the deadline to register to vote in North Carolina for the November 3 general election.

If you have a North Carolina driver's license or DMV ID card, you can still register online through the DMV today. A paper form must be postmarked or delivered to the Wake County Board of Elections by today.

Not sure you're registered, or moved recently? Take one minute and check now.

Miss today's deadline? You can still register and vote the same day during early voting, October 15 through October 31. Bring a photo ID and proof of where you live.

Coming up:

  • Early voting starts: Thursday, October 15

  • Absentee ballot request deadline: 5 p.m. Tuesday, October 20

  • Election Day: Tuesday, November 3

Check your registration: https://vt.ncsbe.gov/RegLkup/

Please forward this to a neighbor, a new arrival, or anyone who just turned 18.
